North Carolina High School Softball - Mount Pleasant bounces North Stanly

May 9, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124

Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting North Stanly Comets (New London, NC), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 15-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burns for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. Mount Pleasant will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-6.

With the loss, North Stanly falls to 12-11 on the campaign.
