In Wednesday's league game, the visiting North Polk Comets baseball team scored a nice 13-0 win over the Boone Toreadors.
The Comets (6-6) will now prepare for their game against A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Tigers go into the Raccoon River game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, A-D-M was overwhelmed by Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 7-5, in a league game.
Next, the Toreadors play the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) in a Raccoon River game, on Thursday, June 12. Boone will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Bluejays go into the game with a 9-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Carroll (Carroll, IA).
