The North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) baseball the visiting Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), 5-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Comets now own a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bondurant-Farrar for a Raccoon River challenge on Thursday, June 26. North Polk will clash with a Bluejays team coming off a 3-0 league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 10-7.
With the defeat, Boone drops to 11-7 on the year. The Toreadors host Ballard (Huxley, IA) to clash with the Bombers in a Raccoon River challenge on Thursday, June 26. The Bombers go into the challenge with a record of 17-5.
