North Carolina High School Volleyball - Bunker Hill overwhelmed by Hickory

The Hickory Red Tornadoes topped the visiting Bunker Hill Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Red Tornadoes face the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A outing, on Thursday, August 14. Hickory will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Red Devils come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to East Lincoln (Denver, NC).

With the loss, Bunker Hill drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Maiden (Maiden, NC) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Western Foothills 4A/5A bout on Thursday, August 14. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Maiden won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)
