The Franklin County Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Cedar Shoals Jaguars to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Hall for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 23. Franklin County will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.
The Jaguars (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Athens Christian (Athens, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Athens Christian dropped by Peachtree Academy (Covington, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
