With the triumph, Herbert Hoover advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV) to clash with the Colts in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Colts come into the test with a record of 1-0. Philip Barbour won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Tyler (Sistersville, WV)

The Red Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Big Blacks come into the Freelance game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Point Pleasant was overwhelmed by Athens (The Plains, OH), 6-1, in a non-league game.
