The Winfield Generals soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Sissonville Indians to 1 in the Generals non-league victory on Thursday.

The Generals now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 4. Winfield will play a Panthers squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Scott (Madison, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
