Nebraska High School Softball - Gering can't get by Scottsbluff

Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE), 5-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Scottsbluff upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Bearcats host Chadron (Chadron, NE) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 4-1. Chadron won 10-7 in their recent non-league game against Alliance (Alliance, NE)

The Bulldogs now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Alliance for a B District 10 game on Tuesday, September 2. Gering will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-5 non-league win over Southern Valley/Alma (Oxford, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
