The Scottsbluff Bearcats softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Gering Bulldogs to 3 in the Bearcats league win on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alliance for a B District 10 battle on Tuesday, September 23. Scottsbluff will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Gering moves to 13-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Chadron (Chadron, NE) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 11-7. Chadron won 13-0 in their recent league test against Chase County (Imperial, NE)
