Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Gryphons now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Glascock County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 31. Academy for Classical Education will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Kendrick falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cherokees host Southland Academy (Americus, GA) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 29. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Southland Academy lost 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA)
