North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gray's Creek over Purnell Swett

The Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) volleyball overcame the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Gray's Creek upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC) to face the Eagles in a United Eight 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, September 5. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Douglas Byrd lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC)

The Rams now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Jack Britt for a United Eight 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, September 5. Purnell Swett will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-0.
