North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gray's Creek over Purnell Swett

The Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 3-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

With the win, Gray's Creek upgrades its record to 13-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Falcons in a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Seventy-First won 3-2 in their recent league bout against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

The Rams now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, September 26. Purnell Swett will play a Colts squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Colts record now stands at 12-1.
