The Northeast Raiders softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Central Chargers to 1 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Northeast moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Kendrick (Columbus, GA) to play the Cherokees in a 2A Region 2 game on Thursday, September 1. The Cherokees come into the game with a record of 1-3. Kendrick lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA)

In their next game, the Chargers play the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) in a 2A Region 2 game, on Thursday, September 1. Central will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Gryphons come into the game with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Glascock County (Gibson, GA).
