Georgia High School Softball - Sandy Creek knocked off by Upson-Lee

The Upson-Lee Knights overwhelmed the host Sandy Creek Patriots softball squad by a count of 24-7 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 11. Upson-Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Bowdon (Bowdon, GA).

The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Hampton was routed by Jones County (Gray, GA), 19-0, in a league challenge.
