Georgia High School Softball - Upson-Lee bounces Sandy Creek

September 9, 2025: Thomaston, GA 30286

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Upson-Lee Knights softball squad scored a good 17-2 triumph over the Sandy Creek Patriots.

Next, the Knights play the Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Upson-Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 11-7 record after their 22-10 league win over Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA).

With the loss, Sandy Creek moves to 4-10 on the season. The Patriots host Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to meet the Lions in a 3A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Lions go into the test with a record of 5-6. Trinity Christian lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Spalding (Griffin, GA)
