In Saturday's league battle, the host Sullivan County Griffins soccer squad scored a close 4-1 triumph over the Montgomery Red Raiders.

The Griffins (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA). The Panthers come into the PIAA District IV-A battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Northeast Bradford nudged North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA), 5-3, in a league battle.

The Red Raiders (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Millville (Millville, PA). The Quakers come into the PIAA District IV-A battle with a 0-5 record.
