Oak Grove Panthers (Oak Grove, MO) fans went home satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their softball team tip the visiting Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO), 14-10 in a league battle.

The Panthers now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Odessa for a Class 3 District 14 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Oak Grove will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.

The Roosters/Chicks (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sherwood (Creighton, MO). The Marksmen come into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Sherwood was routed by Montrose (Montrose, MO), 11-5, in a non-league battle.
