Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaGrange for a 4A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, September 14. Troup County will battle a Grangers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Starr's Mill falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to battle the Lions in a 4A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, September 14. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Trinity Christian lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Carrollton (Carrollton, GA)
