In Thursday's non-league test, the Carver Tigers (Columbus, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA), by a tally of 25-2.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Terrell County Greenwave (Dawson, GA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 17. Carver will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.

The Cherokees (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Greenwave go into the 2A Region 1 test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Spencer was routed by Sumter County (Americus, GA), 20-3, in a league test.
