Eaton Reds (Eaton, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Reds now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lyons for a 3A/4A Patriot challenge on Thursday, September 15. Eaton will battle a Lions squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Brush (Brush, CO). The Lions record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Weld Central falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Rebels host Strasburg (Strasburg, CO) to battle the Indians in a 3A/4A Patriot challenge on Thursday, September 15. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 11-0. Strasburg won 12-6 in their recent league challenge against Brush (Brush, CO)
