The Lumpkin County Indians softball squad (Dahlonega, GA), was routed 11-3 in Tuesday's league contest with the host North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA)

With the triumph, North Hall improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region 6 contest on Thursday, September 18. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 15-5. Dawson County won 10-5 in their recent league match against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA)

In their next game, the Indians battle the White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) in a 3A Region 6 match, on Thursday, September 18. Lumpkin County will attempt to better on its 14-7 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 6-8 record after their 4-2 league loss to Pickens (Jasper, GA).
