The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) and the visiting Bayard Tigers (Bayard, NE), saw Hershey's softball squad nip Bayard by a count of 10-4.

The Panthers now sport a 10-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chadron for a C District 10 match on Thursday, September 21. Hershey will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Gering (Gering, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, Bayard falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Tigers host Chase County (Imperial, NE) to face the Longhorns in a non-league match on Saturday, September 23. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 0-20. Chase County lost 20-0 in their recent league match against Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE)
