Georgia High School Softball - Dawson County Pickens

The Pickens Dragons overwhelmed the visiting Dawson County Tigers softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA) in a 3A Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Pickens will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Grayson (Loganville, GA).

The Tigers (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians go into the 3A Region 6 challenge with a 16-8 record. In their last challenge, Lumpkin County held off Chestatee (Gainesville, GA), 12-2, in a league challenge.
