Westfield School Hornets (Perry, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 18-0 record. They take the field next when they host Strong Rock Christian for a GIAA 5AAA challenge on Tuesday, September 27. Westfield School will face a Patriots squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Stratford Academy falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA) to face the Cavaliers in a GIAA 6AAA challenge on Tuesday, September 27. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Mount de Sales Academy won 8-0 in their recent league challenge against First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA)
