Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) and the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), observed Rich Township's volleyball team top Bloom by a count of 2-0.

The Raptors (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Red Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Thornton Fractional South notched a victory over Bremen (Midlothian, IL), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Blazing Trojan meet the Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Bloom will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record.
