Texas High School Volleyball - Sam Rayburn overwhelmed by Shadow Creek

Shadow Creek Sharks (Pearland, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Sam Rayburn Texans (Pasadena, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Shadow Creek improves its record to 22-13 on the season. The Sharks travel to Alvin (Alvin, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 11-20. Alvin won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX)

Next, the Texans play the Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Sam Rayburn will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Oilers go into the test with a 18-17 record after their 3-0 league win over South Houston (South Houston, TX).
