Alliance Bulldogs (Alliance, NE) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad knock off the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 13-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE) in a B District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Alliance will attempt to upgrade on its 9-16 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 18-11 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Lakeview (Columbus, NE).

The Minutemen (1-20) will now prepare for their challenge against York (York, NE). The Dukes go into the B District 7 challenge with a 14-11 record. In their last challenge, York toppled Polk County (Stromsburg, NE), 13-3, in a non-league challenge.
