The Washington-Liberty Generals held off the host McLean Highlanders volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Generals now have a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host George C. Marshall for a Liberty test on Tuesday, October 3. Washington-Liberty will confront a Statesmen team coming off a 3-0 league win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 12-6.

The Highlanders (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Warriors enter the Liberty test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Wakefield was nudged by George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
