The Odessa Bulldogs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host St. Michael the Archangel Guardians to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Odessa improves its record to 16-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO) to clash with the Roosters/Chicks in a Class 3 District 14 game on Monday, October 2. The Roosters/Chicks come into the game with a record of 14-11.

In their next game, the Guardians clash with the St. Teresa's Academy Stars (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 2. St. Michael the Archangel will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Stars come into the game with a 5-20 record after their 19-4 non-league loss to Glendale (Springfield, MO).
