Georgia High School Softball - Sandy Creek succumbs to Mary Persons

In Tuesday's league test, the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), by a tally of 18-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs face the Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Thursday, October 2. Mary Persons will attempt to advance on its 15-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 10-2 league loss to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA).

In their next game, the Patriots battle the New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 1. Sandy Creek will attempt to advance on its 5-17 season record.
