The Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) volleyball knocked off the host Boylan Catholic Titans (Rockford, IL), 2-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Belvidere North for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout on Tuesday, September 9. Guilford will clash with a Blue Thunder team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Boylan Catholic drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Jacobs (Algonquin, IL) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Jacobs won 2-0 in their recent league bout against McHenry (McHenry, IL)
