The Van Vandals held off the visiting Lindale Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.

The Vandals now have a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harmony for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 13. Van will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.

The Eagles (12-15) will now prepare for their test against Canton (Canton, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A Region II District 16 test with a 18-7 record. In their last test, Canton held off Palestine (Palestine, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
