Softball Recap: Mountain Range Takes a Loss

Mountain Range lost against Brighton on September 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-3.

Mountain Range saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adriana Vigil, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Mountain Range has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Brighton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mountain Range will take on Pomona at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brighton, they will challenge Northglenn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Norsemen have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
