Georgia high school football: State passing, rushing and receiving yardage leaders

Aaron Philo, Jordan Triplett and Judson Petty are Georgia leaders in major offensive statistical categories.

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, Aaron Philo of Prince Avenue Christian (Athens) leads Georgia high school football with 1,926 passing yards for the 6-0 Wolverines.

In a 58-18 win on Sept. 15, the senior Georgia Tech commit threw for 408 yards and six touchdowns and on Sept. 22 he had 406 passing yards and five touchdowns. Philo also rushed for a touchdown in each of those contests and has accounted for 33 total scores this season.

Senior Jordan Triplett of Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island) is No. 1 in the state with 1,200 rushing yards. The Air Force commit has a season-high 357 rushing yards in a game this season and has scored 13 touchdowns. He topped 7,000 career rushing yards with a 177-yard performance in his last outing.

Judson Petty of North Murray (Chatsworth) tops Georgia with 687 receiving yards. The senior has already won Georgia Player of the Week this season after setting a state record with 360 receiving yards in a game on Aug. 25. On Tuesday he received his first offer from in-state Point University.
