Softball Recap: Alliance Takes a Loss

After flying high against Chase County on Saturday, Alliance came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Nebraska City Pioneers by a score of 10-9 on Thursday.

Alliance's defeat dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Nebraska City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8.

Alliance does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nebraska City, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 loss against Crete on the 9th.
