Softball Recap: Spencer Comes Up Short on the Road Against Jordan

Spencer kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 17-0 to the Jordan Red Jackets. The loss continues a trend for the Greenwave in their meetings with the Red Jackets: they've now lost eight in a row.

The victory got Jordan back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Jordan will face off against Hardaway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Jackets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 11.6 runs per game this season. Spencer will be paying especially close attention to Jordan's match: after Jordan faces off against Sumter County, they'll take on Spencer again at 5:30 p.m. on October 7.
