Ben Lomond High School signal caller threw for 523 yards and six touchdowns in win two weeks ago.

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, sophomore Manase Tuatagaloa of Ben Lomond (Ogden, Utah) leads high school football nationally in passing yardage. See the complete list of the top 50 passers in the country below.

Tuatagaloa benefits from having played more games (four) than most quarterbacks around the country, but make no mistake he has made the most of his outings. Two weeks ago in a 39-21 win over Evanston, he completed 30 of 39 pass attempts for 523 yards and six touchdowns.

For the season, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Tuatagaloa has thrown for 1,474 yards and 16 touchdowns against five interceptions.

The first non-Utah quarterback on the list is John White of Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, Miss.), who has topped the 300-yard mark through the air in three of four games this season. White is committed to play at Southern Mississippi next year.
