Sumter County's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Jordan Red Jackets 21-3. Considering the Panthers have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sumter County now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Jordan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumter County will square off against Hardaway at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 11.2 runs per game this season. As for Jordan, they will face off against Spencer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
