            Softball Recap: Nebraska City Pioneers vs. Alliance Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            The Nebraska City Pioneers had just enough and edged out the Alliance Bulldogs  10-9 on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Pioneers have won by  just one  run.

 Nebraska City's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Reesyn Becker, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  double. Those  three  hits gave  Becker a new career-high.  Payton Harrah was another,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
The  win made it two in a row for Nebraska City and  bumps their season record up to 15-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Alliance, their loss dropped their record down to 13-18.
 Nebraska City has already played their next contest,  a  12-2  defeat against Crete on the 9th. Alliance does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
