Dobyns-Bennett (12-0) earned its first trip to the state quarterfinals since 2004 -- and the right to challenge two-time defending champion Maryville -- by defeating Sevier County (Sevierville) last week, 28-21. Led by Vanderbilt-committed quarterback/receiver

The Rebels (12-0) have won a remarkable 181 of 185 games and nine state championships in the last 12 seasons. They were an easy winner over Dobyns-Bennett in the only other meeting between these teams since 2000 (41-0 in 2009).
