The biggest performance of the week was from
Jonathan Huizar of
Delano, who led the Tigers to a 50-29 win over
Foothill (Bakersfield). The junior was 18 of 27 for 473 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions as Delano moved to 3-0.
Michael Wynn of
St. Genevieve (Panorama City) completed 25 of 31 passes for 462 yards and five TDs in a 42-8 win over
La Salle (Pasadena) to help the Valiants move to 3-0.
Three-star Sacramento State commit
Jaden Jefferson of
Cathedral (Los Angeles) put up 412 yards on 25 of 35 passes with five touchdowns and no interceptions in a 56-54 loss to
Simi Valley.
