Twenty of the nation's top rising senior high school quarterbacks hit the field this weekend at the Elite 11 competition in Los Angeles.

The three-day event begins Friday and runs through Sunday with a 7-on-7 competition for a chance to earn a spot at The Opening Finals in June 24-26 at Nike headquarters in Oregon.

Headlining the field are the top three signal callers in the country according to 247Sports, Alabama commit Elijah Haven of Dunham (Baton Rouge, La.), Miami pledge Israel Abrams of Montini Catholic (Lombard, Ill.) and Nebraska commit Trae Taylor III of Millard South (Omaha, Neb.).

Recent winners of the Elite 11 competition include Dia Bell of American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.), Keelon Russell of Duncanville (Texas), Julian Sayin of Carlsbad (Calif.) and Jackson Arnold of Guyer (Denton, Texas).
