Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized the
nation's top high school football players at the conclusion of the
season. Past MaxPreps Freshman All-America Team selections include James
Cook (2015), Arch Manning (2019), Micah Parsons (2014), Gunner Stockton (2018) and Malachi Toney (2022).
Porter is the first wide receiver to be named the MaxPreps National
Freshman of the Year. He led the Wildcats to their first state title since
2003 hauling in 78 catches for 1,547 yards and 27 touchdowns.
Leonard
completed 178 of 255 passes for nearly 3,000 yards and 31 scores for
one of the top programs in Florida. He announced he will be playing his
sophomore season at
Carol City (Miami) on Christmas.
Watts
played a huge role in leading Carver to a 15-0 season and
Class 2A state title. He rushed for over 1,000 yards and 17 scores.
