There was no change at the top as Buchanan of the Fresno region continued to impress. There are tournaments all over the state, including the Boras Classic in Sacramento.

Max Bernal hit a grand slam in one of the games. Buchanan opened this week's Fresno Easter Classic with a 7-0 win over Oakmont of Roseville.

Update: The Vikings had their 13-game winning streak ended at the hands of Franklin of Stockton, 2-0 before beating Granite Bay 7-3 in the same Boras Classic.

Update: The Cardinals are the class of the Redwood Empire and looked the part in beating Maria Carrillo of Santa Rosa 8-5 and 3-0.

Tanner Bradley combined on a seven-strikeout effort in the shutout game.

Update: Top-ranked by The Sacramento Bee, the Timberwolves have won 14 consecutive games and are a threat in the Boras Classic in Sacramento this week.
9. Franklin (Elk Grove)

Update: Ranked second by The Sacramento Bee behind Woodcreek, the Wildcats beat highly ranked Stockdale 3-2 and Palo Alto 2-0 in the Boras Classic behind more stout pitching and defense. This is the top team in the deep Delta League that includes Elk Grove and Jesuit.
