MaxPreps national high school football stat stars

Two of the top receiving yardage totals in national history highlight this week's list of National Football Stat Stars.

Marc Lozoya of Alexander (Laredo) set a Texas state record with 454 yards receiving in a 63-36 win over Winn (Eagle Pass, Texas) on Thursday. The mark is also the third-highest single-game total in national history, according to the National Federation of High Schools Record Book.

However, a few days later Nate Drew of Chavez Academy (Detroit, Mich.) topped Lozoya's performance with 459 yards in a 64-41 win over Mayville (Mich.), setting a new national record for receiving yards in a single game.

Christian Perry, Southport (Indianapolis), 40 carries for 432 yards, 3 touchdowns in a Bloomington North (Bloomington, Ind.)

Kamren Fowles, Manti (Utah), 37 carries for 411 yards, 5 touchdowns in a 41-33 win over Juab (Nephi, Utah)

DeWayne Hodges, Ririe (Idaho), 37 carries for 404 yards, 5 touchdowns in a 36-22 West Jefferson (Terreton, Idaho)

Sean Bowman, South Granville (Creedmoor, N.C.), 22 carries for 403 yards, 3 touchdowns in a 67-57 win over Franklinton (N.C.)

Braden Stringer, Blanchard (Okla.), 34 carries for 401 yards, 4 touchdowns in a 43-14 win over Marlow (Okla.)

Jake LaCoste, West Albany (Albany, Ore.), 50 carries for 398 yards, 2 touchdowns in a 14-7 win over Dallas (Ore.)

Jibril Dansby, Newcomerstown (Ohio), 16 carries for 387 yards, 4 touchdowns in a 37-14 win over East Canton (Ohio)

Will Smith, Hempstead (Texas), 24 carries for 384 yards, 6 touchdowns in a 49-32 win over Edna (Texas)

Luc Goeders, St. Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, Fla.), 31 carries for 363 yards, 4 touchdowns in a 52-20 win over Canterbury (Fort Myers, Fla.)
