After back-to-back state championship losses to McCallie, Baylor flipped the script with two victories over its Chattanooga rival last season and now puts an 18-game winning streak on the line in the latest chapter of the rivalry.
The Red Raiders beat McCallie 38-35 during the 2025 regular season before rolling to a 56-35 victory in the Division II Class AAA semifinals en route to their first state championship since 2022. The programs have met in the playoffs three consecutive seasons.
