The Monarchs have won all 10 games by at least 11 points and six of their wins have come against MaxPreps Top 25 opponents. The Huskies have reeled off nine wins in a row after an 0-2 start and just handed
Mission Viejo (Calif.) its only loss of the season with a 25-20 victory in the quarterfinals last week.

Corner Canyon (Draper, Utah) to seven straight state title game appearances during his eight-year tenure as they face
Lone Peak (Highland, Utah) on Thursday in the 6A championship at Rice-Eccles Stadium. He has gone 99-8 as the head coach of the Chargers and three of those losses have come against the Knights. Lone Peak handed Corner Canyon its only loss of the season with a 28-21 win during the regular season.
Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati) locks horns with Greater Catholic League rival
St. Xavier (Cincinnati) on Friday with a spot in the Division I semifinals on the line. The Fighting Crusaders have won five in a row against the Bombers, including a 45-37 win during the regular season. Junior quarterback
Matt Ponatoski threw for 321 yards and six touchdowns, while St. X's senior signal-caller
Chase Herbstreit accounted for 337 yards of total offense and two scores.

This Division I quarterfinal matchup will be the 73rd meeting all-time with Archbishop Moeller holding a 47-24-1 edge. The winner advances to the Division I semifinals awaiting the winner of

The last time De La Salle started a season 11-0 was in 2018 when its only loss came in the Open Division state championship against Mater Dei. Pittsburg's only loss this season came at No. 7 St. John Bosco. The winner will have a chance to represent Northern California in the Open Division state championship on December 14. The last time the Pirates beat De La Salle was in the 1991 North Coast Section 3A championship, which was the last time the Spartans lost in the section championship. They go for their 32nd consecutive section title Friday and have won 33 in a row against Pittsburg.

The Stags are winning by an average margin of 26.2 points per game and beat Good Counsel 35-7 during the regular season. Good Counsel is trying to repeat as WCAC champs while the Stags are going for their first WCAC title since 2016.
