Where every 100-yard rusher and receiver in NFL Conference Championship game history went to high school

Conference championship weekend is one of the biggest Sundays of the year as the best teams from the AFC and NFC vie for a spot in the Super Bowl. Since the Super Bowl format began in the 1966 season, Larry Fitzgerald and Marshall Faulk are two of 113 players to eclipse 100 rushing or receiving yards in the conference title game. Legendary Dallas Cowboys Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin lead Florida, which has 16 players, more than any other state. In the 1996 NFC title game against Green Bay, Smith ran for 150 yards and three touchdowns, while Irvin went for 100 yards and two receiving scores.

Marcus Allen and Terrell Davis are two of California's 14 players to go over 100 yards. Both went to Lincoln (San Diego), which is the only high school with two players on the list. The Golden State can also claim Marshawn Lynch, who topped 100 yards in both 2014 and 2015.

Thurman Thomas and Adrian Peterson are among 11 players from Texas to go over 100 yards while attempting to lead their squads to the Super Bowl. Thomas did it in 1991 and 1994.

Alabama has six players on this list, including three legendary wide receivers in Julio Jones, Terrell Owens and John Stallworth.
