High school basketball: Spalding Hoophall Classic to feature Columbus, Roosevelt, Montverde Academy and Prolific Prep

The Spalding Hoophall Classic is annually the top showcase event in high school basketball with the nation's premier teams from coast to coast taking the floor in Springfield, Mass. — home of the Basketball Hall of Fame.

The 23rd edition takes place over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend Jan. 16-20 at Blake Arena on the campus of Springfield College. See the complete lineup below.

Nine of the top 10 prospects in the Class of 2025 are expected to participate, including A.J. Dybantsa of Utah Prep (Hurricane, Utah), Duke commit Cameron Boozer of Columbus (Miami, Fla.), Darryn Peterson of Prolific Prep (Napa, Calif.), Nate Ament of Highland (Warrenton, Va.), Caleb Wilson of Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, Ga.), Koa Peat of Perry (Gilbert, Ariz.), Chris Cenac of Link Academy (Branson, Mo.), Darius Acuff of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and Isiah Harwell of Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, Utah).

Top 10 prospects in the Class of 2026 expected to compete include Brandon McCoy of St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.), Tyran Stokes of Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.), Caleb Holt of Grayson (Loganville, Ga.), Caleb Gaskins of Columbus and Dylan Mingo of Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.).

The event features numerous showdowns between highly-ranked teams such as Columbus vs. Perry, Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) vs. Roosevelt (Eastvale, Calif.), Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) vs. Utah Prep, Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) vs. St. John Bosco and Long Island Lutheran vs. AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.).
