Luke McConnell has been named player of the year. "Started in all 23 games on the season & playoffs, and captained the 12th seeded Sartans into the Semi Finals of the state tournament. Luke earned 8 goals and 7 assists on the season. Primarily a midfield leader and playmaker for the St. Pius side, McConnell rarely left the field of play and quickly moved into the next season after the soccer playoffs, the basketball season, where he excels in the guard position. "
